Saturday Morning Outreach

Each Saturday morning a group of belivers gather in downtown Newnan to go door to door and share the Gospel. This is a great way to share your faith and to pray for people. The group meets at the home of Kathy Elash at 10:30am. Please call Kathy at 770-861-7711 for more information.

Matthew 9:38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

The Lazarus Commitment

It is a mandate from heaven for our body. During a "Call to the Wall" meeting recently the Lord directed us to pray and make prophetic declarations calling people out of darkness into the light. We were calling people to come out of the caves when He gave someone a word that we were to go into the caves and bring them out. It was then that the Lord downloaded the plan for the Lazarus Commitment to one of our members.

This is how it works…

We invite the whole body together on a Saturday night at 6:00 pm. Everyone begins to pray and ask God for “clues” about  the people we are going to minister to. For example he might show us a young man with a red shirt and braves hat on, or we might see someone in a wheelchair with a beard. We pray for 20 minutes and then invite those that want to go out into the streets to gather.  The group is divided into smaller teams and are sent out. They go to the various shopping areas and begin to minister to people as the Lord leads. They might have a word of prophecy, knowledge or wisdom for someone, share salvation, or they may be led to pray for healing.

Once the teams leave those remaining  continue in prayer and intercession.  Our worship band leads us in song and we cry out to the Lord for His harvest. The teams meet back at the church at 8:15 and we share testimonies of  how God answered prayer. It is encouraging for all involved.  Let’s take this Gospel out of the four walls and into the streets with healings, signs, wonders, miracles, salvations, and words of encouragement!

Sharing the testimonies...God is doing great and marvelous things!
